If you don't already know, my mom passed away December 15th.  She was diagnosed with cancer (lungs, liver, and lymph nodes) and initially given months to live over one year ago. She fought a tough and courageous battle with all her heart.  Prior to her passing we talked about starting an annual holiday benefit event.  Unfortunately she did not make it to see the first round, but I hope you'll be a part of this celebration.

My mom was an amazing and beautiful woman who always was a tremendous giver, always giving and loving unconditionally.  She inspired me and made me proud to be her son all throughout my life.  The dodgeball tourney is an inaugural event that will help to ensure that all of the great things she epitomized to many people are carried on.

This event is to celebrate the life and spirit of my "Rad Mama" and serve as a time/event to be thankful for and remember all moms out there that have given so much to us.  It is meant to be a day of friends, fun, and family.

The registration fees will go to benefit The Elixir Fund (a group dedicated to improving the comfort and care of cancer patients) You can also donate money to the charity in her name. Players and spectators are also asked to bring an unwrapped to as part of toy drive for needy families.
